I’m Very Nervous…

We’re about 20 Hours Until We Launch Jin’s 1st English Single “SHOOT FOR THE MOON” Music Video that will be My Directorial Debut. I’m Freaking Nervous not because I care about what anyone thinks about my video directing skills. Rather, this video means A LOT to me in every way you could possibly name. 

Jin has been my Inspiration and Reason for why I entered the Entertainment Industry. Through thick and thin, we have always stuck it out during every high and low season. Its been quite the ride as this year marks the 10th Anniversary since he had won his BET 106 & Park Title. Winning 7 weeks in a row as the 1st Asian American to Win anything of that magnitude on National Television. A “Viral Video” WAY Ahead of its time to was passed on to Billions around the world, for Once, GIVING HOPE to Not Only the Asian Americans… But the ASIANS Worldwide. Then of course, also announcing on that last episode, him being the 1st Asian American to sign to a Major Record Label… Ruff Ryders. 

The Journey has been a tough one for me to be Honest. I’ve gained and lost many friendships, I’ve visit and left many places, I’ve moved in and out of many lofts and houses but one constant in my life for the last decade has always been my Brother Jin. I’ve supported him with many Titles, from Promoter to Road Manager to Booking Manager to Manager to Business Partner, but the one Title I was Most Proud to Carry was being the Best Man at his Wedding with one of the most wonderful woman in the world who I consider a Sister I never had. I’ve had many I called My Family, but Most Failed to Live up to it. But I can say Jin has shown me what being Family is REALLY about. 

We’ve lived on both sides of the World and Many who knew of Jin often ask me “What Happened to Jin?” I feel like for many years, I was the only one that knew and could have told the whole story and would find myself repeating myself over and over again, the Story of the Warrior’s Rise to Fame, Uncomprehensible Chain of Unsuccessful Record Release Campaigns, Fall of a Warrior, Fighting UpHill in a Dark World, Visit to Disneyland Where Our Hopes were Revived in the Far East, Taking the Leap of Universal Faith to Hong Kong, Taking THE Leap of Faith, Experiencing Blessings and Grace Beyond our Every Hope, BillBoards, TV, TVB, Gallants, Ironfists, Holy Unions… then of Course, Return of the JEDI.

Well, Many Times (Especially to Music Industry Heads) I Tell This Story, I would get Blank Stares with A LOT of “Uh Huh, Uh Huh, Koo Koo” then Of Course, I Say Yup, GOD IS GOOD. =)
